I am a girl on a mission, fashioned as a wife, mom, daughter, pastor and follower of Jesus. Teaching kids about Jesus has become my full time gig. It is by God’s good grace that it is also my passion.
I recently signed up to go on an international mission trip to Sierra Leone, situated in West Africa. I am perfectly comfortable with my life here in Michigan. Perhaps that’s a good reason to go on this trip. That, and I sense God is directing me to go, despite my fears of the unknown. I have great faith that God will do something pretty awesome in and/or through me on this trip because it is way out of my comfort zone.
I am using this blog as a way to connect those who supported me on this trip to my experiences along the journey. I try to make sense of life through writing and I thought it might be helpful for my support partners to have an idea of what happens next.
